  8. Notes:
    1. By default the plugin will display three elements in the sidebar. If the field is left blank, then the default is used and should display three elements. This is standard for all sidebar elements.
    2. For this case with the Episode detail page, this change needs to be made on the broadcast Episode detail page as well, if you are using that page. We may not know every page on your site, if you have made changes, so please review your site.
    3. This change only affects one plugin. If you have multiple plugins in the sidebar, please review those as well.

    2. This is a Global change on the page, no Episodes will display links for download, after this change has been made.

Changing the order of the Episodes in the frontend.

You need to alter the order of the Episodes in the frontend. In creating Episodes, say an Episode was built out of order, so that it displays at the top of the list, but should be listed at the bottom. Perhaps the newest Episodes were built first and they should have been built last. Please follow the steps below:

  1. Log into the TYPO3 backend.
  2. In the left column, click on List module.
  3. In the center column, click on your Hope Channel folder.
  4. In the right hand column, navigate to the Episode (video) that needs to be re-ordered. You can also use the search field at the bottom of the Episode list.
  5. Click on the icon (pencil) to open the Episode for editing.
  6. Click on the Access tab.
  7. Under the Media library tab, click in the Start field.
  8. Enter a date which is later or after the Episode which the current Episode should appear before. (or vice versa)
  9. Save your changes.
  10. Refresh the frontend. If the order does not change, clear the cache and try to refresh the frontend again. Also, check to make sure the date ordering is correct!!
  11. Continue with additional changes or save and exit the editing screen.

What this means, is that the programming will look at the Media library start date field and use that to make a determination of when the Episode should be shown in the frontend. You can use this to re-order the episodes by placing the earliest Episode with an earlier start date and then working up to the most current episode (giving it the latest start date)

Update Category or Alphabet Filter URL path

After the website goes online or after translation of categories, the filters located under the Series page may stop working. Please perform the following steps to resolve this issue:

  1. Log into the TYPO3 backend.
  2. In the left column, click on List module.
  3. Center column (Pagetree) click on Alphabet or Categories page.
  4. In the right-side pane, click on "+" symbol next to the word "Page". This should display the pages below the page you selected in step 3.
  5. Scroll down to the list of field names and select "URL", then click on "Set fields". The page should refresh and then the URLs for each page should display.
  6. Click on the pencil icon at the top of the URL column.
  7. Verify that each URL is correct and update as needed. If "shows" has been translated to "series" then replace the word show with the word series in the URL path.
  8. When all changes have been made, save your work.
  9. Review in frontend.
