Introduction

The management operations of the HOPE Channel website are done through the Backend Interface provided by the TYPO3 content management system. Therefore we will presume you are logged in with the user credential provided to you.

In order to login in the Backend Interface, you have to open in your browser the following link http://database.hopetv.org/typo3/ and type in your username and password.

login screen

Please do not edit any records of the broadcast in the system page on your local TYPO3 backend. All data is synchronized automatically every 6 hours for your website and this process will overwrite any local data.

Import

If you use the XML interface to import your program schedule, the importer creates shows and media stories or uses the existing ones automatically. Read our documentation about the scheduled import for detailed information. After the import you can edit the shows and media stories. It is important to add the media story identifiers in the media stories so that the right media stories may be found by the importer. Broadcasts (which media story is broadcasted and when) are created only by the importer.
